School Rules
The School presently runs from Play to Class- XII.
The School term runs from April, July to March. The Final examination is held towards the end of the academic year. There are terminal examinations prior to the final examination. Monthly test will be conducted in each month. It will be must for all the students and Monthly test marks will be assessed in the final examinations.
Sundays are normally holidays for students.
Some of the major School Rules are as follows:
1. Students are expected to come to School neat and tidy. The prescribed School Uniform is to be worn in school and at School functions by all the students, and by those students representing the School anywhere else.
2. Students must be punctual and be present on time at all places where they are supposed to be – assembly, regular classes, P.T., Library, functions, etc.
3. Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, regular lack of application of School rules, neglect of home work, disobedience and disrespect towards members of the Staff, any kind of unfair practice either within or beyond this school’s premises will be sufficient reason, for the dismissial of the student.
4. Students should not be sent to school when they have fever or other ailments, even during Examinations.
5. Students remaining absent have to submit leave application to the class Teacher/Incharge with proper reason & signed by their parents.
6. Mobile Phones are strictly not allowed inside the School. If found, parents will be called for explanation.
7. Any damage done to School property must be made good by the student responsible or by the class as a whole as will be decided by the authorities. Individual or collective fines can be imposed by the School authorities.
8. Parents are expected to co-operate in the working of the School by enforcing regularity and discipline, and by taking an interest in their children’s progress. Parents should check the School Dairy regularly and note the teacher’s remarks.
9. Promotion to next class may be refused if attendance is less than 80%.
10. Special arrangements cannot be made for Students who, for any reason, are absent from any written examination / test.
11. Parents are requested to communicate with the Principal / Incharge by letter or to meet personally by taking prior appointment, regarding the progress and welfare of their child. The Principal / Incharge may also require any parents to meet personally in the matter of progress of the Students.
12. Parents are not allowed to meet their child during School hours without permission from the Incharge. Entry into the School Office and the Staffrooms is also prohibited unless permission from the Incharge has been obtained.
14. This being an English-medium School, the students are to be encouraged to speak in English at all times during School hours. Parents are also requested to encourage their child to speak in English outside school.
15. The result of the Final Examination of the defaulters will not be declared. All dues as applicable must be paid before the commencement of the Final Examination.
16. Students are responsible for the safe custody of their books and personal belongings at school. Anything lost will not be compensated by the School Authorities. The parents are requested not to allow cash or costly articles to be brought to School by their child. Costly items and gold ornaments are forbidden.
17. Parents are requested to provide the child with tiffin box with sabji, paratha, roti or
any nutritous food. Junk foods are not allowed in tiffin boxes for play, nursery students. Parents are requested to sent napkins with the child for covering their uniform while lunch in play and nursery classes.
18. An Identity Card is issued to each student. Students must have updated Identity Cards every year.
19. The fees for the month of March is to be paid in the month of February only by 15th February. Without the fees for both these months, Exam Hall Ticket won’t be provided.
20. Students must pay all the dues before the commencement of the new academic session with the stipulated date to be notified at the end of the Final Examination. If failed, their names may be removed from the School Register and they have to seek readmission.
21. Provision is made for Sports and Athletics. Students should participate in games when required to do so. They must apply themselves wholeheartedly to all co-curricular activities.
22. Students may be required to take part in extra – curricular activities such as Debate, Drama, Quiz, Games, Art, Music and Singing. Participation in such activities and practice after the School hours / Saturday / Sunday may be deemed compulsory. Absence on grounds of attending coaching classes / private tuitions will not be tolerated.
